Dr. Anna Paltseva, Assistant Professor in the School of Geosciences received the Soil Science Education and Extension Award from the Soil Science Society of America, of which she is Chair of the Urban and Anthropogenic Division.

This honor recognizes outstanding educational contributions in the field of soil science from scientists who have demonstrated innovative and unique approaches that encourage learning, the ability to communicate clearly and to motivate change in the audience, and who are recognized by peers and students for their accomplishments.
